I would like to thank the Drs and staff at Courtyard surgery for the great care I have received recently with the replacement of my 2 knees. I can always get an appointment the same day I call and the Dr will always ring me when I have requested to speak to them. Keep up the good work.
If youre looking for a GP Surgery DO NOT go to this one. I first went to this surgery when I moved into the area last year. I saw a Doctor about a persistent problem I had which was really bothering and worrying me. After detailing my issues with this doctor I did not receive any kind of examination, which I had expected for my symptoms, the doctor just responded with Well theres no problem, its just you, What else do you want me to say?I was shocked at the service I received and at the way I was spoken to. I was made to feel like I was completely wasting the GPs time! I have since been to Holbrook Surgery about the same issue and received a full examination and also a referral for blood tests and scans. So much for my symptoms being nothing!Please go to Holbrook surgery, GPs and reception staff are all lovely and caring.
Absolutley fed up with this surgery. I agree with other posts regarding its aministrative decline over the past couple of years. My family have been patients here for almost 25 years but won't be for much longer.Continued problems with administration and prescription management are just too much to manage for my wife and I - we have BOTH experienced the same poor quality service.Todays visit was again met with derision and contempt by receptionist staff over THEIR mistakes. They even (incidently) managed to mention that they had given my prescription to another patient who had returned it - thanks too for your lack of data protection care.
The worst doctor's ever!!!! If you have a choice to go somewhere else do. We have only been hear since September and every time I have called up to make an appointment I get some very unhelpful, unfriendly person on the end of the line. Last time I called she couldn't get me booked in with the nurse 4 weeks in advance for a smear. I gave her my dates and the only ones she could give me where the wrong dates. I even told her when my husband was off from work and they didn't have those dates available either!!!! Ridiculous. When I called up to double check I wasn't being sent upstairs because I'm going to have to have my gorgeous baby with me. She told me that it wouldn't be a good idea!!!! What else am I supposed to do!!! We have only just moved here and I don't have any family here. The last doctor's we were with were incredible, very friendly, great play area, nurses and reception would take my son while I was being seen, helpful, empathetic and caring. Courtyard surgery has none of these qualities you would expect from your local GP surgery. So reception is a disaster and then after getting through that and you do finally see a doctor they are so busy and rushed off their feet, that . I have been three times and each time they have no time to actually see you or diagnosis you properly and tell you to go to the hospital!!!! What's the point!!! I'm lucky that my god father is a Dean of medicine and diagnosed me with labyrinthitis which Courtyard suresur failed to do. I have given one star but it should even have that.
Just joined the practice after moving from Henfield and immediately admitted to hospital for major operation. The practice very promptly registered me after the operation and organised the visiting nursing I required. They organised the medicine I needed and it has been with ease I have made an appointment to see the doctor to review my current conditions and medicines thereafter. I thank them.
