Attended the hotel for an evening business networking event. We arrived early and ordered 2 soda water and limes at the bar. 6.50! This is outrageous profiteering and also very unsafe pricing when the venue can only be accessed by car - hardly promoting soft drink purchasing in the lead up to Christmas party season.
Very old fashioned and a mishmash of furniture. In my opinion, not really worth the price considering breakfast wasn't included! Staff were nice though and, as we needed to drop our bags in before check in time so we could go to a wedding, had put our bags in the room for when we got back. Also let us check out late for no additional fee.
My daughter and my son in law had a fantastic wedding here. What a great venue, excellent food and service. Can't thank and recommend them enough. A seamless day.
I host monthly dinners at the Cisswood House Hotel, and return on a twice monthly basis. This includes dinner only events and stay over events. We have been using this hotel for many years. I find the team always helpful and accommodating, and we very much enjoy the care and attention from the team. The food is lovely, and nothing is ever too much trouble. A big thank you from myself and those that join me at our dinners.
Really enjoyed our stay. Stayed over a week here. Good facilities with a pool and gym. Bar was OK though no proper beer available at all. Only cider and lager. Really enjoyed the food. And the garden in the warm weather was a great bonus. Spent every evening outside until sun went down. Reception were really good. Very efficient and friendly. Helped me out when I needed some copying done. Thanks to all the staff for everything during our stay
