A good, honest British Pub! The kind there are all too few of these days. Don't expect an eating experience. It's a PUB. What you get is convivial hosts, bar keeps and sociable locals (clientele). Also beer, wine, spirits and crisps. Imagine a Pub that Al Murray might run, but in a good way.

Andy and Sue are warm and welcoming - always happy to have a chat and pass the time of day with you when time permits. They have built up a loyal and friendly bunch of regulars. Nice atmosphere and a well kept cellar.
