Nice place, good beer, friendly staff. Marked down 1 star because they had run out of cider when we visited

Wonderful atmosphere. A proper real ale pub. Good place for board game playing and bar billiards

It is local, for local people. But welcoming to outsiders. Great pub, with good brew.
